Recognizing Outstanding Employer and College Programs
Each year the California Internship &Work Experience Association (CIWEA) recognizes employers and educational institutions that provide exemplary internship or work experience programs. CIWEA does this to highlight best practices and to encourage organizations to continue offering resources and opportunities for student success. Up to four awards are given each year – two to employers and two to colleges/universities. In addition to a plaque, recipients receive a complimentary membership to CIWEA for the following year and are recognized at the Annual Conference’s Awards Luncheon.
Annual Nominations
Members are encouraged to nominate outstanding employer internship or work experience programs each year. The nominator must be a CIWEA member, but the nominee (school or employer) does not have to be an association member.
